William “Bill” Collins

Passed away at Bonnechere Manor surrounded by the love of his family on Monday, April 13, 2026 in his 92nd year.
William “Bill” Collins of Pembroke, husband of 66+ years to Doris Collins (nee Ross). Father of Jeffrey Collins, Joanne Clarke (David), and Cynthia Trumble (Tim). Papa of Riley & Kieran and Marshall. Predeceased by parents Harold and Ethel Collins (nee Johnston); and siblings Frank Collins (Evelyn), Jean Scott (late Ralph), Gary Collins (Leith), Beatty Collins (Brenda) & Patricia Wieland (late Richard). Survived by siblings Gwen Latendress (late Terry), Shirley Smith (late Don), Faye Leblanc (Bill), George Collins (Gail) & Lynda Rogers (Dan); close cousins, nieces & nephews, friends, church family and neighbours.
Bill was an active member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church. He was also a member of the Pembroke Musical Society, the Pembroke Community Choir and the Intermittents.
Memorial Visitation will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Pembroke on Friday, April 24, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m., with a Memorial Service 12:00 p.m. Interment in North Horton Cemetery, Renfrew at a later date. The Memorial Service will be available virtually. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Ottawa Heart Institute, or Algonquin College Forestry Technician Program would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
