Susan Alice Connolly

Susan Alice Connolly  passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, on Friday, February 6, 2026 at the age of 73 years. 

Susan Connolly (nee Mitchell) of Kanata, beloved wife of 45 years the late Peter Kelly (December 23, 2023) and by previous marriage the late Mark Connolly. Will be deeply missed by her daughter Robyn Seck (Steve), Petawawa & Adam Connolly (Jenna), Smiths Falls. She is reunited in heaven by her precious baby boy Ryan Connolly (age 2 months) and her parents Frederick “Pinky” Mitchell & Evelyn Mitchell (nee Lavigne). Nanny Sue to Ashton Connolly-Heath (Gavin), Jade Brennan (Chris), Hope & Mason Seck; Ava & Alea Connolly. Dear sister of Dawn Grant (John), Metcalfe and Holly Mitchell, Ottawa. Special and loving "Auntie Soupie" to several nieces and nephews. Will be missed by cousins and friends. Susan owned and operated Pine Tree Machine Quilting in Kanata for over 20 years and will be remembered by her many amazing customers and friendships she built over the years at her shop

Interment of ashes will be held at a later date at Pinecrest Cemetery, Ottawa and will be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations to Valley Animal Rescue are appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
