Shirley Biesenthal

BIESENTHAL, Shirley Joyce - passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, with her family beside her, on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at the age of 81 years.

Shirley Biesenthal (nee Vosburg) of Pembroke, beloved wife of 58 years to Ken Biesenthal.  Dear mother of Bradley Biesenthal, Donna Dament (Keith) & Mary Ryan (John), all of Pembroke.  Cherished grandmother of Shawn (Beth), William (Brittany) & Christian (Violet) Biesenthal; Shallan & Joel (Megan) Dament; and Clayton (Kelsie) & Anthony (Kalee) Ryan; as well as 3 great-grandchildren.  Daughter of the late Claude & Hazel Vosburg (nee Richardson), and daughter-in-law of Mabel & the late Elmer Biesenthal.  Sister to Jackie Anderson (George), Pembroke; and predeceased by Betty, Jim, Faye, Joan & Bob; as well as sister-in-law Eileen Nagora (late Arnold).  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Respecting Shirley's wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, Locksley on Monday, June 17, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., with Interment in Grace Lutheran Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.  (As an expression of sympathy, donations to Grace Lutheran Church, Locksley would be appreciated.)  Online condolences and donations are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
