Rosaleen Smith

SMITH, Rosaleen – passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Monday, March 23, 2020 at the age of 83 years. Rosaleen Smith (nee Marritt) of Pembroke, and originally of Yorkshire, England, beloved wife of 60 years to Jim Smith. Loving mother of Stephen Smith (Debbi), Ottawa; and grandmother of Matthew (Tamara). Step-grandmother of Shannon (Tyler) & Kristen (Dave); and step-great-grandmother of Pearl, Penny & Georgia. Daughter of the late Joseph & Peggy Marritt (nee West), and predeceased by brother Keith Marritt (Madge). Dear aunt to Melanie (Dave), and sister-in-law to Mary Plowes & the late Maud Costello, all of Yorkshire. Respecting Rosaleen’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
