GORR, Ronald Arthur – passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, after an unfortunate fall at home at the age 86 years.

Ronald Gorr of Pembroke, much loved husband to Orma Gorr (nee Schultz). Dear father to Pamela Watchorn (Dan), Pembroke & Angela Sherlock, Renfrew. Loving grandfather to Hanna Sherlock, Renfrew, and Robin Watchorn (Erynn), Ottawa. Son of the late Arthur & Mary (Marie) Gorr (nee Sylvester). Brother of the late Rita (Delbert) Chassie. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Special thank you to the Pembroke Regional Hospital Emergency Department, ICU, Dr. Blair Bigham – Neurologist from Toronto; also, Mitch (paramedic) and the ambulance personnel for rapid attendance and care. We have been so blessed to experience immeasurable kindness from so many people, some of whom we did not know.

Respecting Ron’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Graveside service and burial of the ashes will be held at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Ottawa and Renfrew County Dementia Society or Diabetes Canada is appreciated.
