Richard Edward Leo Rosamond – passed away at home in Mississauga on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at the age of 80 years.
Rick Rosamond of Mississauga, beloved husband of the late Ruth Rosamond (nee Kennedy) (October 3, 1991) and cherished long-time partner Lorie Walker. Loving father of Kimberley Burnette (Sheldon) of Mississauga & Duane Rosamond of Belleville. Treasured grandpa of Secoyah, Ashantie & Akeelah Burnette and Jackson & Claire Rosamond. Survived and missed by brother-in-law Bill Kennedy (late Irene), nephews Bradley Kennedy, Jason Kennedy and nieces Tracy Kennedy, Lynn Allgeier and Pam Hellam. Pre-deceased by parents James Edgar & Teresa Rosamond (nee Yantha), brothers Donald (infant), Norman, Kenneth (Evelyn), Thomas Howard; nephews James Rosamond & Steven Kennedy. Remembered by many cousins.
Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Friday, October 2, 2026 from 2:00-400 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home on Saturday, October 3 at 11:00 a.m. The service will be livestreamed. Interment to follow at Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Pembroke. As an expression of sympathy, donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy are appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
