RISTAU, Richard Nelson – passed away peacefully at his home in Petawawa on Tuesday, August 20th 2019 in his 77th year.

Richard Ristau of Petawawa, dearly loved husband of the late Susan Ristau (nee Jeffery). Loving father of Andrew Ristau (wife Susan Birket), Christopher Ristau (wife Cindy Yates), Samantha Ristau, and Nicola Ristau (husband Eldon Blaedow). Cherished grandfather to Nathan & Adam Ristau; Ashley & Austin Ristau, Marissa & Owen Yates; and Victoria, Dakota & Elizabeth Blaedow. Son of the late Nestor & Ethel Ristau (nee Roesner) and brother of Marilyn Gagnon (Gerry), Dianne Mitchell and the late Clair Ristau (Margaret). Richard will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Respecting Richard’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 357 Miller St., Pembroke on Friday, August 30th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with interment in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke. (As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Renfrew County SPCA would be greatly appreciated.)
