STENCELL, Reubena Agnes – Passed away peacefully at Carefor Civic Complex in Pembroke, on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at the age of 89 years.

Reubena Stencell (nee Hammel) of Alice, beloved wife of the late John W. Stencell. Loving mother of Kathleen Jowett of Pembroke and the late Brian Stencell. Cherished grandmother of John & Mark Glover and Tracee & Crystal (Brian) Jowett. Great-grandmother of Tyler, Ryan, Brayden, Addy, Leeland, Elliot, Bailey, Connor & Layla. Daughter of the late Frederick & Agnes Stencell (nee Goldberg). Survived by sisters Joy Perry (Vic) & Marilyn Bedard (Greg) and sister-in-law Isobell Stienberg. Predeceased by siblings Dorothy Okum (late Darcy), Victor Hammel (late Carol), Frederick Hammel, Melvin Hammel (Martha), Marvin Hammel and Beverley Demers (late Elroy). Survived and missed by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation at Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke, on Friday, August 26, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday, August 27 in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery, Alice.
