SMITH, Peter Alva – Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at the age of 82 years.

Peter Smith of Pembroke, beloved husband of Brenda Smith (nee Dowe).  Loving father of Michael Smith (Tami) and Cheryl Rhéaume (Marc).  Cherished grandfather of Amanda, Colin, Liam and Graham. Predeceased by parents Alva and Marjorie Smith (nee Levoy).

Respecting Peter’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  Visitation at Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Wednesday, June 1 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.   Celebration of Life, Thursday at Calvin United Church at 11:30 a.m.  Interment of the ashes at Calvin United Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to Calvin United Church or Carefor Health and Community Services, Pembroke appreciated.  Online condolences and donations are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com
