SCHREADER, Norman Earl Passed away peacefully with his family at his bedside at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Friday, December 3, 2004 in his 92nd year. Norman Schreader of Pembroke husband of the late Viola Schreader (1993) nee Berndt. Dearly loved father of Shirley Schreader, Brantford; Barbara Laronde (husband Ken, Pembroke; and Dawson Schreader (Mary McLeay), Sarnia. Grandfather of Judith Ann Laronde, Pembroke and Robin Schreader (Cheryl), Sarnia. Also loving grandpa to Ian McLeay (wife Sharon) and Darren McLeay (wife Tammy) and their children Cassandra McLeay, Alicia Bergman, Hadyn & Chase McLeay. Brother of Clifford Schreader (wife Ethel), Pembroke. Predeceased by brothers Donald, Walter, Wallace, & Edwin Schreader. Son of the late John & Mary Schreader (nee Griese). Survived also by 2 sisters-in-law Margaret Schreader, Woodstock; Eleanor Olmstead, Toronto; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews. Norman retired in 1978 after 50 years of dedicated service with the Pembroke Shook Mills and later McMillan Bathurst. He was an avid curler and a lifetime member of Zion Evangelical United Church. Norman was a faithful husband, father, grandfather and friend. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke (613-732-3637) on Sunday from 2 until 4:00 and 7 until 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in Zion Evangelical United Church on Monday, December 6th, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Zion Evangelical United Cemetery. (As an expression of sympathy donations to the Renfrew County Lung Association or the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation would be appreciated).
