Neil Robert Thrasher

It is with sorrow that the family of Neil Robert Thrasher announce his passing on Monday, January 5, 2026, at the age of 95 years. He passed away peacefully at home.

Neil Thrasher of Pembroke, survived and deeply missed by his wife of 75 years, Lois Thrasher (nee Salter). Dear father of Barry Thrasher, Patti Stillman (late Mitch) & Mark Thrasher all of Pembroke. Grandfather of Jake Thrasher, Calgary. Brother-in-law of Earl Salter (late Florine), Edmonton. Predeceased by daughter Carol Thrasher, grandson Nick Stillman and brothers-in-law Bert (late Pat) and Bill (late Geraldine) Salter. Missed by many nieces and nephews. 

Neil loved the rural lifestyle and enjoyed a lifetime of wonderful friends and neighbors. He loved nature and enjoyed working with anything mechanical.

As per Neil’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at a later date at Greenwood United Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Greenwood United Church Cemetery Fund are appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
