BROWN, Mildred Nettie - Passed away peacefully at Miramichi Lodge on Thursday, September 15th in her 88th year. Millie Brown (nee Wood), wife of the late Gordon Scott Brown. Mother of Josephine Wallis, Vulcan AB; David Brown (Berni), Strathmore AB; Stephen Brown (Bettyanne), Pembroke; Nancy Burton (Don), North Bay; Myrna Storey, Ottawa. Grandmother and great-grandmother to many beloved grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Also survived by her siblings Shirley & Foster Wood, and Myrna Melvin all of Nova Scotia. Predeceased by her parents David & Annie Wood (nee Oakden), and brothers Harold & William Wood. Visitation will be held at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Monday, September 19, 2016 from 10-11:45 a.m. followed by a service in the chapel at 12:00. Interment in Calvin United Cemetery. (In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.) Online condolences/donations are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
