McConnell, Mary Lou Elizabeth With great sadness, the family announces that "Lou" passed away peacefully at her home on June 1, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved daughter to the late Stanley and Beatrice McConnell. Loving sister to Arlene White (Charlie), Robert McConnell (Bonnie), David McConnell (Cindy), and Susan Pigeon (Michael). Also dearly missed by her 9 nieces and nephews and her 11 great-nieces and great-nephews. The family wishes to express their thanks to all the nurses and PSW's of Bayshore for providing exceptional and compassionate care and to Pat Mons from the Canadian Cancer Society for going above and beyond all expectations. Burial will take place on July 2, 2016 at 11 am at St John's Anglican Cemetery, Eganville. Afterwards, a Celebration of Life will be held at Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke from 1-3 pm.
