Mary Bromley

Mary Pearl Bromley passed away peacefully at home with loving family by her side on Thursday, February 12, 2026 after just celebrating her 90th birthday.

Mary Bromley (nee Bedford) of Pembroke, wife of the late Dr. Robert “Bob” Bromley. Dear mother of Steve Bromley (Patti) and Catherine Arends (Paul). Granny to Melissa Hewitt (Adam) & Scott Bromley (Alexandra) and Curtis Arends (Leah) & Kyle Arends (Jessica). Great-Granny to Violet, Heath, Rowan, Andie, Callie, Norah, Hailey & Carter. Predeceased by parents Percival & Helen Bedford (nee Sider) and sister Shirley Roberts (late Maurice). Mary was blessed with many dear friends who held a special place in her heart, especially her "condo girls".

Mary's family would like to send a special thank you to the doctors, nurses, staff and paramedics at the Pembroke Regional Hospital for their wonderful care and compassion.

Memorial Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Friday, February 20, 2026 from 1:00 – 2:45 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m. A reception will follow. Spring interment of ashes in Wesley United Cemetery, Pembroke. The memorial service will be livestreamed and made available by clicking this link.
