Cushnie, Betty; at the Pasque Hospital, Regina, Saskatchewan on Wednesday April 11th, 2018. Mary Elizabeth “Betty” (Ritchie) Cushnie formerly of Pembroke at the age of 97 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Keith Cushnie. Dear mother of Carol Gletsu and Nancy Cushnie of Regina, Saskatchewan. Predeceased by son Keith Cushnie and son-in-law Akude Gletsu. Grandma to David, Stephen, Nana, Keli and Mawunyo Gletsu and Robin & Alison Cushnie. Sister-in-law of Levite Caron of Ottawa. Daughter of the late Percy & Marion (Taylor) Ritchie. Predeceased by brother’s Robert Ritchie & wife Christine and Ross Ritchie and by sister-in-law Margaret Caron. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1:00p.m. on Saturday June 9th at Wesley United Church, Pembroke. Interment to follow at Calvin United Cemetery. Memorial donations to Wesley United Church would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home.
