Martha Kodrzynski

KODRZYNSKI, Martha Lillian – Passed peacefully at Miramichi Lodge on Friday, May 29, 2026 in her 95th year.

Martha Kodrzynski (nee Reiche) of Pembroke, wife of the late Rudolph “Rudi” Kodrzynski. Martha leaves to mourn her son Mario, daughter-in-law Louise, daughter Krista, son-in-law Pierre Quenneville, grandsons Luke and Mark, sister Marie, and brother-in-law Bernhard Zettler. Predeceased by parents William and Olga Reiche (nee Lemke); brothers: Carl (late Erla), Werner (late Dorothy) and Walter (late Marjorie); and by three sisters: Alice (late Henry Bieber), Olive (late Wilferd Brose) and Esther (late Harry Brose).

Martha had a strong faith and was a dedicated member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was a hard worker, often found nurturing her garden, volunteering at the church and Germania Club, supporting patients at the Pembroke Civic Hospital, sewing, dancing, singing, and most proudly, caring for her family. Life wasn’t always easy, but she lived her life in commitment to God, her church, her family, and her community.

Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Thursday, June 4, 2026 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Zion Evangelical Church, 454 Miller St., Pembroke on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be held in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Bruham Ave., Pembroke. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Zion Lutheran Church or  Multiple Sclerosis Society are appreciated.
