Marna Dunn

Passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Friday, July 31, 2026 at the age of 89 years.

Marna Darlene Dunn (nee Buelow) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Delmer Wesley Dunn. Dear mother of Thomas Thompson, Steven Thompson (Chris) both of Oshawa and the late David Thompson of Bowmanville. Cherished grandmother of Cary Peterson (Cara Lafranier) and Michelle Thompson (Shane Roach) & Megan Thompson (Bryan Duchscher). Great-grandma to Emma & Sophia; Abigail & Violet. Survived by sister Ruby Kumm. Predeceased by parents Richard & Ernestine Buelow (nee Roesner) and by siblings Henry, Violet Stowe, Walter, Naida Radema, Harold, Edwin, Alice Johnston, Mildred Hamilton and Doris Smith. Survived and missed by many close nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pemboke on Friday, August 7, 2026 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke. A reception will follow at the funeral home. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society is appreciated.
