McIntyre, Marjorie - passed away peacefully at Marianhill, Pembroke on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 in her 98th year, with her niece by her side. Marjorie McIntyre (nee Griese) of Pembroke, beloved wife of 50 years to the late Burns McIntyre (1997). Youngest and last surviving child of the late John and Minnie Griese (nee Shellhorn).  Predeceased by all of her siblings: Clarence (late Anna), Gertie McCabe (late Stuart), Gilbert (late Beryl), Edison (late Shirley) and Gladys Gateley.  Special aunt and loved dearly by nieces and nephews. Gary McCabe (Elaine), the late Arlene Dowdall (Elvyn), Joan Sterling (John); Carl Griese (Irene), Ron Griese; Shane Griese (Treena); Sharon Boyce (Murray); Faye Schultz (Roy); Rick Griese (late Cathy); Wendy Drew (Murray); Nancy Ladas (late Danny); and Steve Griese (Sandra), the McIntyre side and many great-nieces & nephews.     It is with heavy hearts, due to the restrictions regarding COVID-19, the Funeral Service at Zion Evangelical United Church, Pembroke will remain private. The public is invited to share in this service online after July 17, 2020 (to view the service bulletin, click here).  Interment in First Presbyterian/Calvin United Cemetery.  (As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Zion Evangelical United Church, First Presbyterian Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.)  Online condolences, donations & recording of the service are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
