Marilyn Elizabeth Robinson

ROBINSON, Marilyn Elizabeth - Passed away peacefully at Pembroke Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday July 1, 2025, at the age of 90.

Marilyn Robinson (nee McBride) of Beachburg, wife of the late Darl Robinson. Daughter of the late James & Isabel McBride (nee Fisher). Dear mother of Lloyd (Laura), Beachburg; Ward (Sandy), Barrhaven; & Stacey (Chris Pleau), Pembroke; and predeceased by infant twin sons. 

Cherished grandmother of Ashley Howard (Andrew), Berkley (Heather) & Taylor Robinson; Brandon (Lauren) & Brett Robinson; and Abby & Chelsea Pleau & Brooklyn Scalabrini (Serge); and great-grandmother of Mabel Robinson. Predeceased by sister Elaine Hawthorne (late Willis), sisters-in-law Doris Splaine (late Garfield) & Velda Severin (late Ronald) and brothers-in-law Gordon (late Verla) & Harold Robinson. Survived by sisters-in-law Muriel Robinson & Naida Robinson, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Marilyn enjoyed a career as a teacher and dairy farm operator. She was a long-time active member of the Beachburg Fair and in her spare time was a very talented artist.

Visitation will be at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Friday, July 4th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, July 5th from 10-11 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church, Beachburg on Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment in Beachburg Union Cemetery.
