Mancel Prescott

Prescott, Mancel E. – passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, surrounded by his family on Friday, September 6, 2019 at the age of 86 years.

Mancel Prescott of Pembroke, husband of the late Deardrie Prescott (nee Leach).  Dearly loved father of Cheryl Colborne (Gerald), Pembroke and Mark Prescott (Kathy), Deep River.  Cherished grandfather of Autumn (Frank Derue) & Rachel (Robert Blakely) Colborne; Joel (Shannon) & Katie (John Keller) Prescott; and Josh (Amber Paplinskie) & Nolan (Lillian Afelskie) Schruder; as well as eight great-grandchildren.  Son of the late Harvey & Alma Prescott (nee Raglin); and predeceased by brothers Clarence (late Rose) & William (Arabella) Prescott.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Respecting Mancel’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Service will be held at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 307 Julien St., Pembroke on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.  Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.  (As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. Luke’s Anglican Church would be appreciated.)  Online condolences and donations are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
