Mae Casey

CASEY, Lottie Mae (Lifelong member of the Newmarket Veteran's Association and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #72) - passed away peacefully at Marianhill, Pembroke on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the age of 89 years. Mae Casey (nee Arnold) of Pembroke, wife of the late Lloyd Casey and by first marriage the late Francis Mathieu.  Beloved mother of Melita Risto (Garry), Pembroke; Kevin Mathieu, Red Deer, AB; Heather Mathieu, Newmarket; and Cynthia Grove, Barrie.  Cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by children James Mathieu, Celeste Leroux (Curtis) & David Mathieu (Sandra); by parents James and Plessah Arnold (nee Richardson) and by 11 brothers & sisters.  Step-mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to Lloyd’s family.   Respecting Mae’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, and with anticipation of improvements, the family is hopeful to have a Celebration of Mae’s life in the summer of 2021.  Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
