WOLFGRAM, Lois Edna (nee Brumm) – Passed away at Miramichi Lodge on Friday, June 19, 2020 at the age of 95 years.
Lois Wolfgram of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Leonard Wolfgram (1992). Dear mother of Brent (Diane) of Pembroke & Bruce (Lucie) of Ottawa. Cherished grandmother of Tanya & Lisa. Daughter of the late Arthur and Elizabeth Brumm (nee Abbott). She is survived by her dear sister Shirley Datars (Robert) and dear sister-in-law Lois Brumm, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings Gordon (late Eleanor), Elmer (late Frieda), Clarence (late Edna), Margaret Siegel (late Leonard), Edith, Verner (late Marna), Edward (late Anita), Harold (late Deltry), Frances Petznick (late Albert), Herbert (late Margaret, late Elyette), Vera Gust (late Eldon), Melville, Douglas (Lois) and Gerald.
Lois was born in Alice Township on February 23, 1925. She was baptized and confirmed in St. John’s Lutheran Church, Petawawa. On August 31, 1949, she was joined into marriage to Leonard Wolfgram in St. John’s, Petawawa. After their marriage, they became members of Zion Lutheran Church in Pembroke. Lois taught Sunday School at St. John’s, Petawawa as well as at Zion, Pembroke for 14 years. She was a long-time member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Women organization, where she also served as President for a term. Lois thoroughly enjoyed spending time every summer at their cottage on Lake Dore. She was a genuine people-person who was at her best when she was helping others. She especially enjoyed family get-togethers with her brothers, sisters and their families, as well as spending time with her two granddaughters.
Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Friday, June 26, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a Graveside Service at Zion Lutheran Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. DUE TO THE CURRENT RESTRICTIONS REGARDING COVID-19, A LIMITED NUMBER OF PEOPLE ARE PERMITTED IN THE FUNERAL HOME & AT THE GRAVESIDE AT ANY GIVEN TIME - FACE MASKS/COVERINGS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND VISITATION. Please feel free to bring your own face mask/covering or one will be supplied to you upon arrival.
