Norlock, Leonard (Len) (Member of the Cobden Masonic Lodge #466) Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the age of 84. Loving husband of Lila (nee Bruce). Dear father of Randy (Susan), Barry (Alaine) and Sharon Godin (Michael). Proud grandpa of Braden, Mitchel, Ryan, Jordan, Danielle and Shaun. Son of the late Michael and Annie Norlock. Survived by sisters Genevieve Boissonneault (the late Louis) and Mary Lance (the late Gerard), brother Kenneth Norlock (Mary-Jane), sisters-in-law Jean and Bernadette. Predeceased by siblings Angus (Agnes), Vincent (Lillian), Benedict, Zita Chartrand (Ernest), Florence Palmer (Kenneth), Ursula Lance (Gilbert), Gilbert (Linda) and Patrick. Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Len was a dedicated volunteer at the Camp Lau-Ren of the United Church of Canada. A memorial gathering will take place at Calvin United Church on Saturday, November 12th, 2016 from 1 to 1:50 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the care of the Malcolm, Deavitt and Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Online donations or condolences may be made at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
