BIGGS, Laura - peacefully passed away at her home after a long battle with cancer on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the age of 52 years. Laura Biggs (nee Lubitz) of Pembroke, beloved wife for over 33 years to David Biggs. Mother of Amanda Gleason (David), Justin Biggs (Jennifer) and Kyle Biggs. Grandma to 4 grandchildren. Daughter of Shirley Lubitz (nee Panke) and the late Fred Lubitz. Sister of Judy Nieman (Dennis), Joan Nieman (David), Kevin Lubitz (Leona), and Michael Lubitz (Debbie). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Laura will be dearly missed by her special angel Carol Klawitter. Memorial Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Sunday, August 14, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Alice on Monday at 11:00 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Alice or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
