Larry Splaine

Splaine, Larry (Employee of Goodrich and Michelin Tires for 28 years) Passed away after a courageous battle with a rare cancer disorder at the Freeport Health Centre, Kitchener on Tuesday August 24th, 2004 at the age of 54 years. Larry is survived by his beloved wife Linda; his mother Doris (late Garfield Splaine); brothers Brian, Darwin, Michael, and sisters Darlene, Marilyn, Connie and their families; step-children Hugh (Steph), Tabitha (Bill), Tricia (Dude); step-grandchildren Justin, Chantelle, Christie and Jordan; and his sister-in-law Cheryl (Paul); and his godson Dayton Splaine. Larry will be forever remembered as a "car buff " who enjoyed working on cars as well as for his love of camping and animals. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, l4l Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Wednesday September 1st from 7 to 9 p.m.; and Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Thursday at 2 p.m. (As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Wesley United Church would be appreciated)
