Larry Markus

With sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Larry James Markus at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at the age of 68 years. Beloved son of the late Martin and the late Theresa Markus (née Godin). Brother of Karen Markus (Chris Marion) and Debbie Wilson. Uncle of Gary Gilchrist.

Visitation will be held at Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke, on Friday, June 26, 2026 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 357 Miller St., Pembroke, on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Community Living Upper Ottawa Valley or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
