FISHER, Larry (William Lawrence) - passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, at the age of 94 years. He lived a full rich life.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 41 years, Susan (nee Meikle), his daughters Lori-Kaye Fisher (Lorne Foster) and Lora Decker (Bruno Joppen), and son, Scott Fisher (Ashley) and the pride of his life, his 4-year-old granddaughter, Olivia Fisher. Larry will be deeply missed by his very close friends Lloyd & Lois Dunn and their two girls Rebecca & Krista, and Darwin & Jenn Groskleg and their children, D.J., Lineah, Giselle, Abbi, Sydney, and Olivia.  He has many nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss him greatly.  He was predeceased by his sons, David & Tyler and by parents W. Larry was a huge part of the communities he lived in through his work, participation, and volunteerism in Kiwanis, Pembroke Legion, Crimestoppers, the Historical Society, Champlain Trail Museum and Pioneer Village. He was an avid curler and proud supporter of local hockey.

Larry was born in Richmond Ontario, lived in Ashton, and went to High School in Carleton Place.

He started in real estate immediately after retirement from the Post Office and worked for 28 more years before finally retiring for good. In total he worked for 68 years.

Respecting Larry’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  A private interment will take place at Wesley United Cemetery. (As an expression of sympathy, donations to Kiwanis Club Pembroke would be appreciated).
