SCANES, KEITH (Member of the Governor Generals Curling Club - Retired Fire Chief CFB Petawawa) Passed away in the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Thursday, December 8th, 2005 in his 83rd year. Keith Scanes of 403 Morris St, Pembroke beloved husband of Nancy Scanes (nee Hathaway). Dear father of Rosemarie Zadow (husband John), Pembroke; and Andrew Scanes (wife Cathy), Pembroke. Predeceased by infant daughter Carol Ivy. Grandfather to Kelly Brown (husband Jeff); Dean Zadow (wife Melanie); Heidi Scanes; Shelly McQuirter (husband Bob); Denise Hubert (husband Karl); and Tammy Ezeard (Brad). Great grandfather to Jennifer, Scott, Santana, Tory, Taylor, Tyler, Matthew, Erin & Hilary. Son of the late Thomas and Annie Scanes. Predeceased by brothers William, Sydney and Andrew Scanes. Resting at the Malcolm Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St, Pembroke on Saturday from 2 until 4:00 and 7 until 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in Chapel on Sunday, December 11th, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Spring Interment in Wesley United Cemetery.
