Karen Shields-Rose

SHIELDS-ROSE, Karen - passed away peacefully at Hospice Renfrew on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at the age of 59 years.

Karen Shields-Rose of Pembroke, and originally of Ottawa, dear mother of Tamara Rose (Corey Eggert), Pembroke; and William Rose (Monica), Ottawa.  Beloved grandmother of Madison & Brock; and Billy.  Partner of Paul Catterall.  Daughter of the late Arthur & Ruth Shields (nee Lloyd); and step-daughter of the late Herman Hall.  Sister of Wayne Shields, Renfrew; and the late Bruce Shields.  Dear aunt to Matt Shields, as well as many other nieces and nephews.

Respecting Karen's wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, Pembroke on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.  Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.  (As an expression of sympathy, donations to Calvary Baptist Church or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.)  Online condolences and donations are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
