In Loving Memory of Kate Alicia Hinds

April 7, 1992 – November 2, 2025

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Kaitlyn Alicia Dawn Hinds, a woman whose strength, love, and light touched everyone she met. Kate was surround by those she loved deeply when she passed away peacefully on November 2nd, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, courage, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Kate was a force of nature — vibrant, kind, and endlessly giving. She faced every challenge life placed before her with incredible resilience and grace. Even in her hardest moments, she found ways to lift others up, make them laugh, and remind everyone around her what true love and perseverance look like.

Kate was able to find an everlasting love with her soulmate Ajay over the last ten beautiful years of her life. Together, they built a beautiful family, and a life filled with laughter, adventure, and love. Kate was nothing short of an extraordinary — selfless, passionate, and a fiercely devoted mother. Every choice she made, every moment she gave, was for her children. She shaped their lives with warmth, joy, and countless unforgettable memories and will continue to do so as she watches over them from above.

Her smile could light up any room, her laughter was contagious, and her energy was unmatched. Kate had a gift for making everyone feel seen and loved — through her thoughtful gestures, witty humour, and the countless ways she showed she cared. She was the mom cheering loudest at the arena, the friend who showed up with tea and a hug, and the heart of every room she entered.

Kate was, in every sense, the embodiment of strength. She lived life fully and fiercely, leaving behind a powerful example of what it means to love deeply and fight bravely.

Kate is reunited with her beloved great-grandfather Gerald Hinds and Mémé Paulette Anklewich, who will no doubt be waiting to welcome her with open arms and the biggest hugs — as well as her cherished pets Chloe and Buddy, who surely bring smiles from above.

She will be forever loved and remembered by her partner Ajay; their four beautiful children Hayden, Landon, Dominic & Kaelyn; sister Tayler; and brothers Sam & Taryn— along with their four beloved pets Luna, Jade, Bree & Ozzy. She will be deeply missed by her extended family and many friends who were blessed to know her. Though she left this world far too soon, her light will continue to shine through all those she touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Kate’s honour when the family feels the time is right. Friends and loved ones are invited to join us in remembering Kate by sharing stories, laughter, and cherished memories that reflect the amazing person she will always be.
