MUIR, JOHN- Passed away suddenly at the Ottawa Heart Institute on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at the age of 70 years.
John Muir, loving and devoted husband of Sandra Muir (nee Oliphant). Proud father to Kim (Joe) Zahab, Christine (Terry) Ziese, and Teresa (Chris) Cowan. Very proud grandfather to Sean & Kaitlin Stewart; Cassandra & Katrina Halliday and Jordan Ziese; and Anna & Cooper Cowan. Great-grandfather to Keagan & Easton Waplington. John will be forever missed by family, friends, and co-workers whose lives were touched by his witty remarks, Scottish Pride and love for travel.
Visitation will be held at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St, Pembroke, on Tuesday March 4 from 2-4:00 & 7-9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. (As an expression of sympathy donations to the charity of choice would be appreciated.)
