Mailloux, Joëlle – passed away peacefully in her own bed after a long battle with leukemia on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at the age of 59 years. Joëlle Mailloux (née Contant) of Pembroke, loving wife of Léonce “Chick” Mailloux. Supportive and caring mother of Lynn Foley (husband Jamie McConnell). Mémère will be missed by her grandchildren Dylan, Tyler, Jared, Madison, Liam, Samantha, Jayce and Micheal and his son Maliki. Daughter of the late Robert and Réjeanne Contant (née Éthier). Sister of Lucie Morin (husband Guy) and Nicole Doyle (husband Norm). Predeceased by step-son Daniel Tremblay (partner Stephanie) and infant brother. Joëlle was loved and will be missed by many special friends, especially Ginette McWhirter. Respecting Joëlle’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Soeur de Lucie Morin (époux Guy) et Nicole Doyle (époux Norm). Prédécédé par son beau-fils Daniel Tremblay (conjointe Stéphanie) et son bébé frère. Joëlle sera toujours aimée et manquée par tous ses chers amis, natamment par Ginette McWhirter. Tout en respectant les voeux de Joëlle, l’incinération a eu lieu. La famille recevras la visite le Mercredi 22 Janvier de 7 à 9 heures p.m. et le Jeudi 23 Janvier de 10 à 10:45 a.m. Un service commémoratif aura lieu le Jeudi 23 Janvier à 11:00 a.m. dans la chapelle du salon funéraire Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke. En mémoire de Joëlle, des dons peuvent ètre fait à la Société Canadienne du Cancer.
