WILLIAMS, James Hamilton - It is with great sadness our family announces the passing of Jim Williams on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, after a valiant fight with cancer. Jim was born in St. Stephen, NB, Nov. 03, 1947; raised in St. Croix, NB, son of the late Walton Hamilton and Margaret (nee Barnes) Williams/McBean. He was the step-son of the late Harry McBean.

Jim was the loving husband and best friend of Sandra (nee Tracy), celebrating 52 years of marriage. He is survived by his daughter, Paula; son-in-law Carl Fleury; granddaughter, Kayla Scott; grandson, Kody Scott; and step-grandsons, Chad and Cody Fleury. Papa Jim to step-great-grandson, Everett Fleury, all of Pembroke, ON.  Also survived by sisters, Linda Kaine (Billy), Orrington, Maine; and Kenny Jean Brennan, Woodstock, NB; sister-in-law, Sharon Tracy (David McKay), Fredericton, NB; and brother-in-law, Gary Tracy (Elaine), St. Stephen, NB. Loving uncle to several nieces and nephews and shared a special relationship with all his extended family & friends, including dear friends, Gord and Penny Brownell of Nova Scotia.

Friends and family shall remember Jim as a great host, an avid fisherman and hunter spending many enjoyable days at his hunting camp and trips to the mountain with his fishing buddies. The business community in Pembroke and area shall remember Jim as the established owner of Kool-Temp Air Conditioning operating it as a family business for 22 years. As retirement did not suit Jim well, he established, for the second time, a new business, JW HVAC operating it as a family business for another 10 years.

The family would like to extend their gratitude and sincere thank you to the staff on the 2nd floor, bldg A at the Pembroke Regional Hospital for their kind and compassionate care of Jim.

By request, cremation has taken place. Interment to follow in New Brunswick at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.

The family will be hosting an "Open house/Celebration of Jim's life" at their residence on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 1 to 4:00 p.m.

The family offers many thanks to all who were part of Jim's lifelong journey.
