Jessie Snyder

Passed away peacefully, after one final kiss, holding the hand of her beloved husband, on Monday, November 3, 2025, one week after her 93rd birthday.

Jessie B. Snyder (nee Rowe) of Pembroke, lovingly cherished by her husband of 67 years, Raymond Snyder. Their hearts would forever cherish the blessing of their son, Garfield “Gary” Snyder who passed away in their arms as an infant and their daughter Lillian Schreader who passed away March 18, 2022 at the age of 62 years.

Jessie had a warm heart and welcomed everyone like they were family, especially Lillian’s partner, Ed Rutkowski. Grandmother, affectionately known as Gram, to Erin & Shawn Schreader and Great-Gram to Kaelen McCallum-Schreader & Alyssa McCallum. Her connection with her Godchild Diane Sheppard is to be forever treasured. She had the heartache of losing her parents Garland Sr. & Mabel Rowe (nee Cole), and siblings Reginald, Garland Jr., Lemuel and Rosie.

Gram’s home was a place of warmth, laughter and cherished memories. She found joy and appreciation in life’s simple moments.

Jessie’s urn will be brought home until the time comes to lay her and her husband to rest together, alongside their daughter Lillian at the Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Pembroke. Arrangements entrusted to the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
