Jennie RICHARDSON

RICHARDSON, Jennie Died peacefully at Supples Landing on Sunday, January 16th, 2005 in her 95th year. Jennie Richardson (nee Armstrong) was born on December 21st, 1910 in Muskoka, Ontario to parents Samuel & Isabella Armstrong. She is the last survivor of 13 siblings. In 1937 she married Russell Richardson and a career in mining subsequently took them to Geraldton, Ontario and on to South Africa for 42 years. They lived there until Russell's death in 1995 at which time Jennie moved to Pembroke. She is survived by her two children Gail Richardson (Izett McBride), Beachburg; and David Richardson (wife Lesley), Vancouver, B.C; her grandchildren Russell Newall (wife Cheryl Taylor), Markham; Trevor Newall (wife Alleta Thede), Uxbridge; Nicola Byres (husband Allan) Vancouver, B.C.; Jillian Gates (husband Russell), Anchorage, Alaska, USA; her great-grandchildren Ben & Connor Newall; Lindsay & David Byres; and Amy, Joshua & Jonathan Gates. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday from 2 until 4:00 & 7 until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. Funeral Service will be held in St. Andrew's United Church, Westmeath on Thursday, January 20th, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Spring Interment in Westmeath Union Cemetery.
