Janet Margaret Cameron – it is with profound sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother on Sunday, July 19, 2026 at the age of 93 years.

Janet Cameron (nee Antler) of Petawawa, beloved wife of the late John “Red” Cameron. Proud and loving mother of John “Rob” (Theresa), Wanda Cameron, Janice Cameron, Andrew (Debra) and the late Frederick Cameron all of Petawawa. Cherished grandmother of Christopher (Gryte), Terrilyn, Holly & Robert Cameron; great-grandmother of Jayson (Anna), Taylor, Logan, Finnley, Quinn and Scarlett Cameron; great-grandmother of Dorothea Cameron. Survived and missed by her brother Wilbert (Inta) Antler and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Harold (late Margaret), Earl (Rickey) & Minerva (Laurie) Meacoe.

Memorial Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 1:00 till 3:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will immediately follow in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. and will be livestreamed. Interment in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke. As an expression of sympathy, donations to a charity of your choice is appreciated.
