NIEMAN, Jacqueline Susan
May 26, 1968 – April 23, 2021
After an almost 53-year battle with spina bifida, and most recently a 19-month hospital stay, Jackie has gone to her heavenly home where she joins her parents, George & Anita (nee Pitzner) Nieman. She leaves to mourn her siblings, Carole, Kevin (Catherine), Perry (Elaine), Sherwood (Katherina) and Bonnie (Leonard) Schryer; her 17 nieces & nephews and 29 grandnieces & nephews; as well as many extended family, dear friends, church family and health care providers from March of Dimes. Jackie was predeceased by her best friend & cousin, Karoline Bielecki, as well as by her companion & greatest love, Libby (her therapy dog). Jackie was known for her distaste of the colour yellow, and of bad grammar. She was a devout Christian, a staunch advocate for the disabled, a fan of anything “Shakespeare” (either live or in print), a multi-talented craftsperson, and a patient & enlightened photographer. She will be dearly missed.
Honoring Jackie’s wishes, there will be no wake, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, Petawawa on Sunday, July 4, 2021 at 3:00 p.m., and will be livestreamed from the church facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/CLC-Livestream-109494214147705.
