Helen Muriel Smith

SMITH, Helen Muriel – Passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at the age of 90 years, just days away from her 91st birthday. 

Helen Smith (nee Liebeck) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Andrew James Smith.  Loving mother of Carol Smith, Millard Smith (Ella), Wayne Smith (Elizabeth) and the late Gayle Suley (Bill).  Cherished grandmother of Leanne Summers (Tim), Kristyne Ross (Jeff), Stephanie Smith, Margaret Smith, Krista Graham (Jesse) and 6 great-grandchildren.  Dear sister of Joan Petznick (Lawrence) and Maureen Folber (late Wayne).  Special thanks to the staff, especially to the professionals on floor 2A at Miramichi Lodge.

Respecting Helen’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  Interment of the ashes will be held at Zion Evangelical Cemetery, Pembroke on Friday, May 20 at 11:00 a.m.   As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Zion Evangelical United Church or Miramichi Lodge Foundation appreciated.  Online condolences and donations are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com
