SCHARFE, Helen Beatrice Peacefully int Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke on Sunday December 12th, 2004 at the age of 98 years. Helen Scharfe (nee Mathieson), dearly loved wife of the late John "Jack" Scharfe and by first marriage the late Robert "Bob" Kyle. Daughter of the late William and Frances Mathieson (nee Thrasher). Predeceased by sisters Edna Groh, Iola McAvany, Isabel Sutton and Emma Mathieson; and brothers Herbert, George, Gerald and Fred Mathieson. Aunt Helen will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, l4l Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Service in the Chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Spring interment in the Rideau Vale Cemetery, Kars, Ontario. Members of the Pembroke Chapter of the Eastern Star # 288 are requested to assemble at the Funeral Home for service on Tuesday at 6:45 p.m.
