Helen Gertrude Sabourin

SABOURIN, Helen Gertrude – passed away peacefully on Monday, June 19, 2023 in her 93^rd year.

Helen Sabourin (nee Hoffman) of Pembroke, beloved wife of 67 years to the late Rene Sabourin.  Mother of Brian Sabourin, Pembroke; Susan Lee (late Jim), St. Catherines; the late Peter “Sab” Sabourin (Tina), Pembroke and Nancy Sabourin, Toronto.  Grandmother of the late James Lee and Chessa & Talia Sabourin.  Great-grandmother of Lucas, Genevieve, Matthew, Tyson and Mason.  Daughter of the late Henry and Martha Hoffman (nee Grief).  Sister of the late Vera Schizkoske (late Ken); the late Verner Hoffman; and Ruth Thom (late Roy), Pembroke.  Survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  A Funeral Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 454 Miller St., Pembroke on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Zion/St. Timothy’s Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Zion Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
