Passed away peacefully at Marianhill on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at the age of 93 years.
Helen Weisenberg (nee Lubitz) of Pembroke, dearly loved wife of the late Lorne Weisenberg. Dear mother of Sandra Dombroskie (Edward), Round Lake; Terry Weisenberg (Heather), Pembroke; Barry Weisenberg (Kim), Pembroke; Steve Weisenberg, Pembroke; Brenda Zadow (Bob), Pembroke; Kenneth Weisenberg (Patricia), Pembroke; and Andrew Weisenberg (Grace), Pembroke. Grandma to Jason Dombroskie (Lindsay) & Scott Dombroskie (Jessica); Derek Weisenberg & Ashley Moss (Jason); Chris Weisenberg & Meghan Leach (Bert); Tanya Thrun (Matt) & Brandon “Fritz” Zadow (Amber Kuehl); Brayden Weisenberg; and Rachel Weisenberg (Ryan Giesler) & Melanie Weisenberg (Nathan Russwurm). Great-grandma to Kaitlyn Moss, Xyla Dombroskie, Milo Weisenberg, Ainsley Zadow and Baby Zadow due July 2026. Predeceased by parents Frederick & Louise Lubitz (nee Klentz) and siblings Hilton Lubitz (Eileen), Wilfred Lubitz (late Nora), Frederick Lubitz (late Shirley) and Hilda Morris.
Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Sunday, January 11, 2026 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 533 Borne Rd., Pembroke on Monday, January 12, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Spring interment in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, CHEO or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
