Helen Goldberg

Goldberg, Helen Margaret – passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 in her 91st year.

Helen Goldberg (nee Jarvis) of Pembroke, wife of the late Gordon Leonard Goldberg.  Loving mother of Dennis Goldberg (Lois), Pembroke; Linda Lenser, Davidson QC; Fay Waldron (Raymond), Pembroke; and Darlene Burgess.  Pama to 7 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.  Daughter of the late James and Violet Jarvis (nee Lanthier). 

Helen was lovingly cared for and her family compassionately supported by the empathetic nursing staff at the Pembroke Regional Hospital ICU, ER and especially 2nd floor medical.  Words cannot begin to express the amazing guidance provided by Dr. Ratnayake during this difficult time. 

Respecting Helen’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Funeral Mass will be held at The Church of the Most Holy Name of Jesus on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 10:30 a.m.  Interment of ashes in St. Columba’s Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Pembroke Regional Hospital, Kidney Foundation or Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County.  Online donations/condolences are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
