PETER, Heinz - Passed away at his home on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at the age of 95 years.

Heinz Peter of Pembroke, beloved husband of the late Anna Peter (nee Trautrim). Father of Sonja (Alfred), James, and Linda. Grandfather of George, Anna, Victoria, Ben and Jenny. Great-grandfather of Lara, Emily, Gus, Ernie and Simon. Predeceased by parents Wilhelm & Toni Peter (nee Dettler) and brothers Waltraud & Renate. Remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Monday, June 29, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., followed by fellowship and refreshments. Interment in Zion/St. Timothy’s Lutheran Cemetery, Boundary Rd., Pembroke. As an expression of sympathy, donations to charity of your choice would be appreciated.
