SPLAINE, Heather (nee Ferneyhough) - Passed away in hospital surrounded by her loving family. Dearest wife and best friend of 60 years of Barry Splaine. Cherished and proud mother of Gail (the late Rick) Bowes of Ashton, ON and of Richard (Isabelle) Splaine of Quinte West, ON. Beloved and proud grandmother of Nicolas (Cynthia), Mathew and Kathleen. Proud and cherished great-grandmother of Alyssa Meghan-Ann Meadus-Splaine and Ella-Rose Splaine. Dear sister of Joan (John) Johnston of Merrickville, ON and brother Garry (Lynne) Ferneyhough of Oshawa, ON. Predeceased by her mother Elsie (nee Charles), her father George Ferneyhough, her stepmother Viola Adams and her infant sister Sheila. Dear sister-in-law of the late Ronald (Valerie) of Bolton, ON, Ina Bradcoe of Three Hills, AB, Linda (Allen) McMane of Lethbridge, AB, Edward (Judy) of Lindsay, ON, Deb (the late Allan) Glen of Pembroke, ON, the late Bill (Vicky) of Pakenham, ON, Wayne (Colleen) of Pembroke, ON and Jeffrey of Pembroke, ON.
Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Malcolm, Deavitt and Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St, Pembroke, ON on Sunday, November 26, 2023, from 11 a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Reception to follow.
