BORN, Hazel Sophia - passed away peacefully at Valley Manor, Barry's Bay on Sunday, June 19, 2016 in her 96th year. Hazel Born (nee Stencill) of Alice, beloved wife of the late Arthur Born. Dear mother of Larry Born (wife the late Heather), Glen Born (wife Sharron), Ronald Born (wife Pauline), Kathy Junop (husband Ronald), and Desmond Born. Predeceased by infant daughter Sandra and son Howard Born. Also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Daughter of the late Herman & Johanna Stencill (nee Michaelis). Predeceased by siblings Melvin, Esther, Lorne, Verner, Ernie, Berdena, Norman, Darcy, Wesley, Minerva, Wilbert and Garnet Survived by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, l4l Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Alice on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.
