RUTZ, Harvey - passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, July 6, 2015 in his 83rd year. Harvey Rutz of Pembroke, dearly loved husband & best friend of 60 years to Marilyn Rutz (nee Goldberg). Cherished father of Cheryl McEwen (Blaine), Gillan Rutz (Ann Marie), Linda Tennian (Tim) & Murray Rutz (Donna). Proud Grandpa of Jason (Amy), Matthew (Michele) & Eric; Benjamin (Meredith), Amy (Mitchell) & Alison (Yvan); Holly (Ryan), Erin & Kaitlin; and Tanner (Gianna) & Kelly (Matt); as well as great-grandchildren Grace, Carter & Sara; and Sophie & Maxime. Dear brother of Darlene Rayner (Don), Elaine Richardson (Dave) & Donna Huehn (Gord). Son of the late Ben & Gladys Rutz (nee Kurth). Harvey will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews; as well as his family pet Quincy. Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in St. Timothy's Lutheran Church, where Harvey was a Charter Member, on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Zion/St. Timothy's Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke.
