MARTENS, Gisela Elizabeth – passed away at Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke on Friday, July 6, 2018 at the age of 77 years.

Gisela Martens (nee Pudewell) of Pembroke, wife of the late Bruno Martens.  Dear mother of Michael Martens, Pembroke; and predeceased by Anita & Reinold Martens.  Cherished grandmother of Alex & Adam.  Daughter of the late Herbert & Joanna Pudewell; and sister of Karlheinz Pudewell, Eganville.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, Pembroke on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., with interment at Zion Lutheran Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.  (As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.)  Online condolences and donations are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
