THOM, George Alvin – passed away peacefully at the Carleton Place & District Hospital on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at the age of 71 years.
George Thom of Carleton Place and formerly of Pembroke, much loved father to Robert (Amanda) Thom, Steven (Lisa) Thom and Debbie (Adam) Panke. Predeceased by his son Dwayne Thom. Dearly loved by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by his sisters and brothers, Laura, Shirley, Joey and Tommy.
Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke, on Monday, April 29, 2024, from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. Cremation to follow. In memory of George, donations may be made to the Dementia Society of Ottawa & Renfrew County. Online condolences/donations may be made at www.mdbfuneralhome.com
