George Foss

Foss, George – passed away peacefully, with loving family by his side, at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Monday, January 18, 2021 in his 98th year.

George Foss of Pembroke, beloved husband of 70 years to Betty Foss (nee Mick).  Father of Patricia Foss, Pembroke; and Jeffrey Foss (Kim), Petawawa.  Grandfather of Jordan Foss, Meagan Foss, Courtney Johnston (Derek) and Michael Foss.  Great-grandfather to Emmett & Elowyn Johnston.  Son of the late Ezra & Freida Foss (nee Maves).  Brother of Myrtle Ashwin (late Dr. Jim), Ottawa.  Predeceased by siblings Victor Foss (late Elsie), Margaret Barrie (late Bill and the late Bert McGregor), Willard Foss (late Phyllis) and Phyllis Blok (late Bert).  Survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family service was held.  Interment in Pembroke Pentecostal Cemetery and a celebration of life will be held in the spring.  Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
