CARD, Garry Glen (Retired Master Warrant Officer of 23 years & Retired Correctional Officer of 20 years at the Pembroke Jail) - passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at the age of 82 years. Garry Card of Pembroke, beloved husband of 63 years to Earlene Card (nee Snider). Dear father of Steven Mark Card (Anne), Cap Pele, New Brunswick & Amber Ellen Soucy (Raymond), Cambridge, Ontario. Cherished grandfather of Glen, Allison, Christina, Carol, Kristopher, Jaime, Stephanie and cherished Epaw of Amnesty & Chantal. Great-grandfather to 11 & great-great-grandfather to 3. Predeceased by his parents Maurice & Alice Card (nee Lamb) and by siblings Sunny, Elizabeth, Maureen, Wayne, Robert & Lynda. Survived and missed by many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law Georgene Boissonneault (Larry), Paulene McNally (Robert) and by brothers-in-law Earl Snider (Lucille), Robert & Gerald Snider. A public visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Monday, July 26 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. A private memorial service will be held in the chapel at 3:30 p.m. Interment of ashes at Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte on Tuesday, July 27 at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
